The annual strategy day focused on collaboration, and the future of sustainable living on water

Blue21 Group brought its team together in the municipality of Waterland for its 2025 Strategy Day, reflecting on progress and aligning on the organisation’s long-term direction.

The session provided an opportunity to review Blue21’s journey and its growing group of related initiatives, including Square Floating City, INDYMO, and the Blue Revolution Foundation. Discussions emphasised an integrated approach that brings together technology, design, ecology, governance, and business.

During the day, the team reaffirmed a shared purpose: expanding sustainable living space for both nature and humanity on water. Key themes included defining a long-term vision and roadmap, strengthening synergies across entities, and identifying ways to work more efficiently and collaboratively.

The Strategy Day underscored Blue21’s commitment to bridging science, design, and governance while building a global network to advance floating and climate-resilient solutions, from local initiatives to international projects.
