The 2025 edition of Delft Verbindt 2025 brought together over 300 participants from across Delft’s innovation ecosystem, reinforcing a shared focus on turning ambition into action.

Hosted by family-owned engineering company Octatube, the event centred on the theme of moving from thinking to doing—a philosophy reflected in both the programme and the setting. When solutions do not yet exist, Octatube’s approach is to build them.

This mindset was on display in the Innovation Cubes, where two Delft-linked companies presented tangible innovations: Blue21, showcasing disruptive approaches to floating urban development, and INDYMO, demonstrating underwater drones designed for practical inspection and monitoring challenges.

Both innovations will remain on display inside the Innovation Cubes pending permitting by Gemeente Delft, after which the cubes will be opened to the public as part of their next innovation phase. Further information on locations and public access will be shared in the coming year.
