Inspire high-level US Water & Resilience delegation with Bluelands

What a great opportunity to present our floating platform prototype #Bluelands to a very high-level Water & Resilience delegation from the US!

💚 Organized by The Green Village and VPdelta+, the visit and tour gave us the chance to introduce our innovative solutions and approaches to tackle global urban and water challenges.

🌊 Our colleague, Anna Louka, introduced our vision and #Bluelands – modular floating platform – solving housing and flooding challenges. Pioneers from other innovative companies, including Leon Haines cofounder from Reefy, presented nature-based solution and eco-engineering for coastal protection, and Ruben Wentink from FieldFactors showcased #BlueBloqs, an innovative rainwater treatment and storage technology.

💡 The US delegation was particularly interested in the Dutch approach to water management, coastal protection in the face of a changing climate, and what we do to increase urban and coastal resilience.

🌻 We are all very happy to meet and answer questions from the representatives from Harris County Flood Control District, Texas Water Development Board, City of Houston, South Florida Water Management District, City of Jacksonville, Miami-Dade County, City of Boston, Boston Harbor Now, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, City of New Orleans, Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Miami, NBSO-Texas and Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).
