Living and Working in Water Districts

A captivating evening unfolded at Pakhuis de Zwijger, Amsterdam, on November 22, shedding light on the promising realm of water districts. The event, graced by esteemed speakers and attended with great enthusiasm, delved into the dreams, challenges, and aspirations surrounding water-based living.

Our co-founder and director Karina Czapiewska, stood among other experts in the floating sector to share her invaluable insights to the panel, contributing to a rich dialogue on the future of water districts.

While technology and the market stand ready to support scaling up of floating development, the real challenge turned to the legal complexities. A call for unity emerged, prompting the establishment of a Platform Floating Construction (PDB) to strengthen initiatives in water living.

The industry’s commitment to acting as one cohesive force, exchanging knowledge, and communicating effectively signals a promising floating future.

A big thanks to the organizers, and participants for making this event a resounding success, bringing permanent life on water one step closer to realization.
