NPO features Space@Sea demonstrator
The Space@Sea demonstrator was recently broadcast on NPO as part of an informative featurette movie aimed at engaging people of all ages to the advancements of floating technology.
The demonstration model was created for motion testing as part of the Horizon 2020 funded, Space@Sea.
The project aimed to provide sustainable and affordable workspace at sea by developing a standardised and cost-efficient modular island with low ecological impact. The demonstrator design aims to showcase the innovative opportunities that floating can provide in the field of logistics, transport, energy, farming, and living.
