The Blue Revolution Think Tank was founded to organize the Governance of Floating Cities on open sea. Floating cities on the open sea offers new land to 150 million people worldwide who, due to climatic developments, are looking for other places to live, work and recreate, but creating new land requires new cooperation.
The Think Tank develops and unlocks knowledge about how residents and users, governments, builders and facilitators can work together to build and maintain floating cities. With a floating city on the North Sea we can demonstrate with Dutch craftsmanship how Dutch people can offer new ‘land’ to people on a large scale.
In order to develop and unlock knowledge BlueRevolution builds the Think Tank into a professionally supported scientific curatorium for in-depth knowledge development that, together with a practical Advisory Council with working visits and publications, makes that knowledge accessible.
