After the successful 3rd World Conference on Floating Solutions (WCFS) 2023 in Tokyo last August, preparations for the 4th WCFS are now already underway
We are very happy to share the great news that the next World Conference on Floating Solutions will be organized by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and will take place in Hong Kong on 2-4 December in 2024.
Under the leadership of Prof. Xiao Lin ZHAO (Chair of the organizing committee), and Prof. Jian-Guo DAI (Co-Chair), there is no doubt that WCFS2024 will be another successful and fruitful event which brings the global floating community together, fosters cross-disciplinary collaboration, disseminates state-of-the-art research results, raises awareness on floating innovations and educates the next generation how they can contribute to shaping a better and more sustainable future.
The World Conference on Floating Solutions (WCFS) was initiated by the “Society of Floating Solutions, Singapore(SFSS)” and founding president Lim Soon Heng in 2019 to bring international experts and leaders together to disseminate recent research and developments in floating solutions. The second WCFS was co-organized by Blue21 and Waterstudio in 2020, while the third WCFS was held in Tokyo less than two months ago. WCFS continues to gain attention and momentum worldwide, as the global interests in floating solutions grow.
