World Conference on Floating Solutions 2023
🌊 The Blue21 team is honored to have been part of groundbreaking moments in the world of floating solutions. We had the privilege of attending the World Conference on Floating Solutions 2023 (#WCFS2023) in Tokyo. A polite and grateful thank you to the Organizers.
This unique interdisciplinary event, organized by Japan and the Society of Floating Solutions (Singapore), brought together innovators, thought leaders, and collaborators from around the world, making it a valuable and memorable gathering.
Our heartfelt congratulations go out to our esteemed long-term client and collaboration partner, Shimizu Corporation. Their dedication to innovation continues to ignite our own passion.
🎤 It was an honor for our co-founder, Rutger De Graaf-van Dinther, to take the stage as a keynote speaker, sharing our vision for a sustainable floating future. Our colleague, Fen-Yu (Vicky) Lin, also made a significant contribution by presenting on sustainable floating city production systems and Industry 5.0 opportunities, a paper with Ana Pereira, PhD.
Moreover, it was a proud moment for us, as our colleagues Barbara Dal Bo Zanon and Akane Takahashi from Shimizu Corporation, who has been integral members of our team. They were honored as the best young researchers alongside Livia Calcagni. 🏆✨
WCFS2023 was more than just presentations; it was an opportunity to forge new connections and rekindle friendships with those who share our passion for the future of floating solutions. To all who contributed, we extend our sincere thanks for your inspiring contributions to this dynamic sector.
As we reflect on this event, our commitment to paving the way for change in the floating solutions industry is stronger than ever. Connection and collaboration are the keys to overcoming the climate crisis and preserving biodiversity using the vast potential of our oceans. 🌊💡
🌍Let’s continue to shape a resilient, sustainable, and innovative world on water, together.
